gas tank

what is the best way to knock the rust out of my gas tank? are the plastic baffles around the fuel pump a syclone only thing? could i just replace my tank with a stock sonoma tank?

i dont know the answer here but id like to know myself...someone was giving away a syclone fuel tank the other day...maybe you could search for it and ask him...my syclone came with a fuel cell :-? and no gas tank...not like it really needed it... first chance i get, im slapping in a stock type tank and burying the tiny fuel cell underground somewhere...

I'm pretty sure that there is nothing spercial about the syclone gas tank. at least as far as it being the exact same thing as a stock sonoma.

I believe that the baffles are a Syclone thing. For obvious launching reasons. I guess our Typhoons don't launch as hard . Jim
