FYI...these will replace HVAC bulbs...

Took minimal work to fit them since they are a little larger diameter than the stock bulbs.
You can do this without removing the entire assembly which is a PITA.

Remove 2 screws from bottom of dash that secure HVAC control.
Pull off the 3 black lever knobs for the fan, mixer and AC/vent/heater control.
Pull the whole thing out as far as you can.
On the back left had side are 2 silver screws that hold the faceplate to the control assembly. Carefully remove them.
Remove the 2 lamp holders & then the bulbs.
There a 4 screws that sandwich the front plate, silkscreen plastic, clear plastic & back plate together. Remove these screws.
With the clear plastic panel removed, I used a large countersink bit and just by hand twisted it several times until I had removed enough material so that the leds will, with a little pressure, slide into the clear plastic panel.
Reassemble the panel
Reassemble the panel to HVAC controls. There are some spring arms for the slider controls that need to tuck into the track. If not the controls will fall apart.
Install led's into lamp holders and then holders into faceplate.
Push everything back in & install 2 screws.

Illumination with these is good. The only thing I don't care for is the blue tint to the HVAC silkscreen.
Does anyone know if GM made has the HVAC control with another color? Like the way the Sunbird cluster uses orange for the ODO & tripmeter.
