Fuel Pump

Hey Nolan, Tony, Mark... any of you's guys mind giving some input?
I need to replace my fuel pump, what would you replace it with and where would you get it from? Would it make sense to try to source it through you guys? I checked local and was told around $400. OUCH! I've seen Walbro units on ebay for about $100 US shipped which seems like a decent price. Would this be a good option?

I think a friend of mine locally can help me install it, sure wish I had access to a lift though. Not looking forward to taking the tank out. Dam I need a garage.

Oh hey, while I've got your attention, any idea where I might get a battery cut-off switch?

I’m not Nolan, Tony or Mark but maybe my opinion would be beneficial.

Go with the Walbro unit. Sells all over for around $120.00 or less. Drain your tank first. It will be much easer to work with.

Summit Racing or Jegs will have the battery switch you want.

As they said go with the walbro 255. Changing the fuel pump on a Syclone is not bad at all. I think the easiest way to do it is to take the bed off. Just unbolt it, get a few of your friends over pull the bed off and set it on some saw-horses or something. Change the pump and put the bed back on. Its alot easer than dropping the tank and it doesnt matter how much gas is in it. :2cents:

Thanks for the info, guys. I may look into just taking the bed off, that may end up being easier than dropping the tank out. I'll have to see. And thanks Mark, I'm PMing you now.

I actually hadnt thought of Mopac. Mark's going to get me a price, so we'll see. I might try calling Mopac to see what they'd charge. Thanks for the tip.
