Fuel Pump Wires--Help Please

Hi guys. Bought the recommended Worlbro fuel pump. Put it into my Ty, and.............it is screwed.

I did this over 2 days, so I think I may have gotten the two wires backwards?? Don't know if this is possible, but as you know the wires need to be changed for the new pump.

So, question is, does anyone have a picture of the wires (I took one, but somehow it is now gone off my phone!!!).

Comedy of errors that isn't funny.

Any help for a novice is greatly appreciated.

The best way to check any wiring is with a
multimeter so you don,t mix match any wires
first to do is make sure no fuel is present when checking
these wires because one spark can be fatal !!!
With the fuel pump plug ( tank side ) disconnected and the ignition switch
off follow the wires going to the fuel pump these will be ( neg and pos )
just ground one side of the multimeter and check terminal with the ignition on
for the 12 volt power on the meter the signal will be a short 2 to 3 seconds
this is called fuel pump prime if you want to check the 12 volt signal
again just switch off ignition and wait a few seconds before switching on
every fuel pump has a postive and negative terminal
