fuel pump question

I need to drain the gas in my gas tank today because it is two years old. i want to hot wire the fuel pump and connect to the shrad valve and let it drain into a gas jug. how do i hotwire the fuel pump relay? where is the relay at.

If you look right by the FPR - there should be a small grey wire with a male spade connector. Jumper that to the power dist box right above it.

run power to the grey lead coming out of the harness right behind the intake next to the dist on the right side.

so what do you do with the old gas? i know autozone recycles all other chemicals.

Why not put it back in the tank?

thanks for the quick replys. i dont know what i am going to do with the old gas. i just didnt want to run old gas through the engine. maybe i will leave a little so i can make it to the gas station and mix it with so new gas.

Run it threw the lawnmower, snow blower or through a daily driver. 2 years isn't that bad, I have some 5 year that I drain out of my Corvette (I drained my Corvette after 2 years thinking it would need to be drained but it didn't make that much of difference, but I didn't drive the car for another year so it need to be done). It has taken me three year to run it through my lawn mower and snow blower. Its get a little hard to start the lawn mower, but I am on my last tank ful

If you can, I would run your Typhoon tank low and fill it up with fresh gas.

Yeh, 2 yrs ain't bad. I just dump alot of fresh on top of it. Hopefully it didn't F up your Walbro if U have one because I've heard that can happen when it sits there 4 awhile.

well i drained it yesterday and i saw the first gallon or so, had a yellowish tint to it. but after that gallon the gas was perfectly clear. i drained it all out and put some fresh stuff in and it really helped. the truck ran alot better.
