Save the date. Jan 25-27 2008 for the annual Miami meet. Wrench, bs, hit a car show, eat, pick up the years worth of accumulated parts I have (you know who you are). It's the weekend between the NFL Championship games and the Superbowl so no excuses. Drinking kept to a reasonable level due to the damage done last year (you know who you are). Details to follow.

Funny you should mention that.....I got a call from the afore-un-mentioned person the other day. Took me a minute to recall what he did, but as soon as I asked, "Hey did you pay Gary back?", I got hung up on.

That F*ker hung up on you?! Im making it a point now to find his address and pay him a personal visit. He wont even return my calls and he damn well knows im pissed about it. Ive very much thought about when I get his address to yank those brand new Z06-Rs one night and donate them to gary so he can sell them. Bitch thing to do, but after the damage and embarrasment, it's owed.

You should call him back and whatever he was wanting, charge him extra on top of what he owes gary.

Yeah, he was calling about some other parts (tire kicking - he bought nuttin'), and towards the end of the conversation, I realized who I was talking to. As soon as he said, "Alright, well thanks for your time...", I asked about the deal with Gary and was greeted with a dial tone.

Ironic thing was that one of the things he was looking for was a piece of cladding. Said a buddy got pissed and kicked it to pieces. That's when it hit me who he was. I guess what goes around comes around.

no worries... i will track him down. I have the body shop to which I gave a reciept to when I first got him cladding. I will be contacting them in efforts of asking for help to get ahold of him since I lost his contact information.

The best part of being part of this community is the support.

The bottle of Henessey was virtually empty, but the 12 oz can of Coke was still more than half full. I still want to know what happened to him at the club before Adam picked him up. It's hard to blow $600 dollars there in less than an hour AND get kicked out. Usually if you're spending that kind of cash that quickly they will forgive a LOT.

Junkyard trip is good by me, I picked up a very rare 78-87 g-body stick shift set up last weekend, shifter and complete pedal/z-bar assembly. Left the tranny, it was a 3 speed. Always some good finds.

My guess....he ripped up $600 with his teeth to show the bouncer that he's a man. However, anyone drunk enough to talk into a pack of cigarettes because he thought it was his phone is capable of anything.

My only regret was not going back up and asking what did happen...

I am very tempted to roll up there saturday night and see if the same bouncer is working.... if so, im sure he'll remember.

John is not coming BTW.... that weekend was the last time he ever showed his face. Since then, i had a brief talk with him about 2 weeks later in which the sale of the truck came up on how much its worth (dont think he did sell it) ... he wont return Garys or my calls now after being on his ass..... now probably Hoods too

Funny he is looking for cladding... im sure he is dying to call me cause he knows I can get it and get it for cheap...which I will gladly do, it'll just be $300 more on top of the price to cover last years damages.

ill fly down there for the meet, break off and kick john's ass like he's never seen in the movies befor ,
lift his wallet and we'll all have a good laugh.

I hope to make it in my Syclone. I'm going to register the tag tomorrow and drive it home on Thanksgiving. We'll see if anything breaks between now and then :)
