I talked to my friend, john, who runs The Inn On The Beach, a hotel right on the beach
The rooms usually go for $155 a night but he says he can give us each a room for $75 a night. I told him it would be about 10 rooms but he wants an exact count. so....Its not set in stone, but could i get a list of everyone that needs a room, if u guys think this is a good idea. And this is for fri night, sat night, and sun night right?

while 75 is decent, 45 is gooder.... id personally rather save the 30 by not being on the beach....thats food, activities, gas, and runs to car part stores for stupid crap that breaks.
plus, IMHO... id rather not be on the beach due to wind / salt / sand for a period of 2-3 days without access to a hose daily and having to lug around a truck cover as well.
i know others feel the same with their trucks too.

I spoke with Days Inn. They have plenty of rooms available for memorial weekend.
BUT, the prices on expedia.com are cheaper than their direct group rate. $49 as opposed to $46 on expedia. Gotta remember about Jordans cheap ass here.
I dont want to wait until last minute to book. Unless someone finds another hotel in the area for cheaper by this week, im calling in my reservation by friday.
The dates I will be booking: May 27th-29th Thats friday night through saturday night, sunday checkout.

I booked my room today. Expedia was being a bitch saying that the rooms are already sold out for that date. So, i called up the hotel and he said he has rooms available for $62/night. I told him NO, $46/night. And he agreed to it so it all worked out.
On a side note....Jeremy is bringing the Viper to whip up on all your slow ass trucks....hahaha j/k. Out of the hole, its got traction problems. But on the highway, it pulls pretty decent.
