Fair market value?

What is a reasonable price to pay for a SGT with 150,000 miles. Clean carfax but with a repaint and missing the front bumper cover? Assuming everything else is excellent, especially for age/mileage?

Re: Fair market value?

Front bumper = $800-1000 with paint, support, and fog lights. The problem is that its value is approaches part out status when you start consider the value of the few unique syty parts and SoGT parts.

Re: Fair market value?

It's a Florida truck from start till now. No rust according to the seller, but I will verify before I buy. Its black on black, other than the front bumper cover it is a complete truck. Interior seems to be immaculate. They are asking in the $5000 neighborhood which seemed a bit steep considering that the KBB on it was around $3100. If I can "split the baby" and get the truck for $4000, would that be a good deal?
Thanks again guys.

$5,000! I've seen Sy/Ty's for only a couple grand more, with less miles and all cladding.

A year or two ago there was a white/gray SoGT that went for $5,500. It had 60 something thousand miles, was complete and as clean as most brand new cars on the show room floor. It wasn't a Sy/Ty, but I probably would have bought it on the spot.

:stupid: With 150K miles, I might be willng to pay 3100 for it if it was complete (ie front bumper cover). I would try for low $2k missing a front bumper cover assuming everything else is in good condition. If would have to be something special to pay $5000 ie showroom clean, extra, rebuild, restored etc.

Re: Fair market value?

Are you near Deland? Its located at 1849 South Woodland Blvd, 32720... Let me know (although the comments above are starting to make me think that I was right in thinking they are asking too much) but I might be stupid again and pay too much (I did for my Ty :screwy: ).
