Everyone keep ERUE in your thoughts

ERUE (owner/operator of TurboTime) was in a head on collision in his subaru. :(

Lucky for him he wasn't in the Sy, or the lack of airbags probably would have proven to be the end.

He netted a broken sternum, broken knee, broken heel, and a broken wrist - all of which will probably need surgeries to repair to normal. So all of you who know him, are friends with him, are customers of his, or are just plain generous...please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he begins his long road to recovery.

(btw...I told him there are much better ways to get out of going to NATS than this. )

I would have to say that is great news that he survived and can recover from this. He has been one of the most helpful people I have talked to about my build and I'm thankful for him and his family that he is alive! Way to find the humor in it Mike haha. Looking forward to seeing a speedy recovery!

Re: Everyone keep ERUE in your thoughts

I had just visited with E. He is in good spirits and is doing well. He was much better than I had originally thought, but none the less in rough shape. The hospital staff is taking very good care of him. And although it hurt to laugh, he was still laughing.

E was actually hit head on his father's Corolla. Had he been in the Subaru, he would have been just fine. His wife and daughter were in the Subaru in front of him and were sideswiped just before the guy went back over the other side of the road, then overcorrected and hit the Corolla. His wife and baby are absolutely fine. Thank God for the baby Recaro!

We are going to try to keep it business as almost usual at the shop. If anyone needs anything shop related, feel free to contact me. E's contact will be limited, but I will be going to see him everyday.

E's family and friends want to thank everyone for their support and well wishes!

E has a long recovery ahead of him, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Oh man, ERue.... that's horrible. I was just watching your videos of the track time in the Subie.... my wife and I wish you a speedy recovery, and especially not a lot of pain as you recover.

Does anyone know did this happen on the track, or on the streets?? EDIT... just saw Jax's post

Lots of positives in this story. Hope the Hospital has WiFi so we can say "howdy".
