fwiw, joe white used to be at this same shop. imo from what i have seen of joe whites performance at the track vs these 2 otherguys i would go to joe whites shop. however the thing to keep in mind here is kaminsky hasnt done anyting great with a syty. jose and danny havent done anyting great with a syty. I dont know for sure but i have a gut feel it was joe whites efforts that made the reputation for the shop in camden prior to his going out on his own.

now we get to harry, keith and myself.

harry did the tune and the combination, keith did the fabrication work for custom 1 up stuff.

I did the motor assembly and the labor.

you could talk to harry and ketih about a plan for your build.

Withers did my machine work when i did the rebuild of the bottom end.

the initial machine work when carman nataro initially put the bottom end together was done by westons machine.

when i had the oring grovves and the heads worked on the second time lorenzo did that work for me.

lorenzo also did the machine work and assembly of tom ferricks most recent motor. harry did the tune.

you didnt say if you had the abilites to do the motor asembly yourself.
also what the goals were for this.

I can tell you i wouldnt go with someone who wasnt currently proving themselves just becuase they were inexpensive....

that should give you plenty to think about.

also you might want to think about this.... with all i have managed to accomplish not a single person has ever asked harry for help or called him.

He and i both find that both amazing and humorous at the same time.

First you need to tell us your goals, wants. Any reputable machine shop can do the machine work and assembly. as for all of the little things, they vary from person to person.
L35 or vortec or ported vortec?
Stock manifold or custom?
Stock intercooler or A/A
What are you going to use the truck for?
Are you going to keep the stock engine management?
Are you going to keep the A/C?
you say money is no object but it always ends up being important when you start aproaching 20k for a full blown engine.
How frisky are you?

Hey guy's, Thanks for all the replies. I was just trying to get a couple of names that I could do my homework with. I plan on a motor with Razor's kit would get me solidly in the 11's, Keeping the stock engine management, Air to Air, John Craig TE45A, 50lb inj.. I am not sure what heads yet, still doing some research on that. You guy's answered alot of my questions at Anderson's shop. I will talk more with you all at Hooters. Thanks again!

We have built several sy/ty engines that run quite well, did you look at Denny Raab's truck when you were at the shop? He runs in the 10's and drives it everywhere with the stock intercooler!
