I'm looking for others EGT @ idle, i'm pretty sure my truck is running to rich so i was going to lower the fp but would like to hear what EGT fellow Sy/Ty ers have on idle. Here is my set-up:
EGT probe 1.5" from head in #1 runner, basicly as close to head as possible
STG Ultimate chip T1-15
FP set at 50psi w/o vacuum
Timing set at 0*
My EGT is 700* F on idle and wont go over 1400* F @ WOT up to 110mph. My truck also smells very rich sitting on idle and bogs and hesitate when taking off from a stop, the longer i sit on idle in drive the worse is the hesitation, yes i have a DM file incase anybody would see?
