Does any one know what causes the typhoon engine fires?

I am just curious since I own one that had a fire and I am going to be repairing it with a wrecked one. I am just scared that all my work could go in vein if I don't take some prevetitive measures. I have heard of alot of typhoons catching on fire? Do they have electrical problems? I am going to go threw the new harness with a fine tooth and camb and any suggestions would be great.
