that little sidestep out of the hole was the diffference between 9.03 and 8.9x.
if youve ever driven your truck in the snow there isnt much difference when you launch and that happens. the front drive pulls that little bit and straightens it right out.

How on earth do you get it to react that way and still houl a$$ ??
Roberts 9,8-9,7 sec runs is lame out of the hole just to get it started. IF he truns up on bost he gets the truck sideways like U did and dropps down to 10 sec pass
Thats a fantastic time, you just made Robert start the chase for an 8 now, not a low 9 sec run
Sorry to say the first race here in europe is in -06 marsc or april in santa pod in england.. by then you would have hit the 8??

we are as safe as can be. dad and i have already talked about improving our cage this winter. an in truck camera would be cool! how do you set that up?

With as fast as your going i would think about going out the back window with your cage. You can never be to safe. Your too nice of a guy to loose your life because of the lack of a cage.

I borrow my friend's camera mount which is very similar to this model:

It's adjustable to your cage bar diameter, and can be pivoted around to get different angles.

WOW!!!!! Congrats to the hoovers..... I know we will see 8's real soon....

there were several that asked why we didnt try again after the 9.03 pass to go 8.90s. well we got just a small limp in the tranny/converter area. i just uploaded the video to our website. for those of you that are racing anything, this IS NOT GOOD! tends to tear up converters and possibly 1st gear in 400 turbos :lol:
