Delay when starting

When I turn the key to start, there is a slight delay before the starter actually goes. Not a long time, but long enough that I go "what the….?", and then it turns over. Seems worse when it's cold. What is going bad? Ignition switch? Starter solenoid?

same thing happened with mine. its your ignition switch. that picture or the ty and the gn in your garage is badass

Thanks for the reply and the thumbs up on the pic. I kinda figured it was the switch (while at the same time hoping it wasn't the fargin starter). That switch is gonna leave me hangin' one of these days - I know it. I'll have to pick a new one up.
