mall candidate for rox.

Me and Cheryl might be hanging out alot if we go. :) Whats the area like Cheryl and will they hate my open 3" DP truck?

I have a feeling if we do go...probably might find a place to stay in NC area....unless North of Danville and staying in VA is better? Ive never hung out in NC except on the outter banks to surf and only driven through VA.

Re: Danville, Virginia

Adam,
I haven't been up to Danville in a few years, & then only to pick up lottery tickets at the state line, lol! I'm no expert on that area, but it's a small town with a lot of vacant business due to the textile industry heading offshore. It's probably more like an hour from me, SloGN(Patrick) & quite a few of our Southeast GM Turbo6 group. Is this a consideration for a permanent move?? You may really become bored after living in Fla! Guess you'll just have to start hanging out with us. The area around Danville and just inside NC is pretty cheap on taxes compared with other areas closer to Greensboro though. Let me know if ya coming up this way

Re: Danville, Virginia

This would be a temporary 1-2 year stay. Rox works for a company doing mall management. If we moved there, she would take over as GM at the mall to gain experience to eventually move into a bigger income mall, which means even more money for her.

I think Danville is like 100,000 people. One of our small towns here is around 370k. So yeah, thats the reason why I dont think we would live in Danville. It'll be a 6 hour drive to the outter banks for me to go surf compared to a 30 minute drive now :(

Looked around at jobs... there isnt a print or graphic job for at least 50 miles, so not sure what Im going to to.

Dunno, we'll see.

Re: Danville, Virginia

Adam, Reidsville and Eden are some of the closest towns to Danville. Greensboro & Burlington have more to offer as for jobs, but at least 30-40 mi drive. Yeah, Outer Banks is a good drive, at least 4-5 hr. Mountains are closer, You could take up rock climbing instead :D
