i found this site, they are pretty reasonable on their prices. i dont know anything about them though. what kinda shipping prices,quality and so on. heres the link.

Fiberglass are going to be lighter than the steel hoods, probably cheaper too. But from what I understand, they don't fit real great and can get warped out of shape. I bought a cowl hood for my GT not too long ago. It is a 2 inch steel Goodmark cowl hood. I'm pretty happy with it. After messing with it for about 10 min it fits almost perfect. If I remember correctly, it was around 400 bucks including shipping.

i was just posting incase anyone may be interested. like i said i dont know much about the quality. i want a cowl hood and if i get one it will probly be a fiberglass lift off. they are cheaper and i like the way hood pins look.

I checked that site out also, it doesn't seem to be too bad...atleats they're paintable...

if youre putting it on a black truck you can just pay $15 more to get black gel coat.
