Was thinking about buying a car cover, what would you guys suggest? I mainly store it in the garage, but it might alos go out side once and a while in the summer. Would a cheap ebay one work well? Should I spend the money to get a good one, who make a good one?

Thanks guys

I think I have STANDARD "COVER CRAFT" on my 67 and Sy ... they have lasted longer than the last brand I had ( I forgot the name , sorry ) ... but after a year the 67's is starting to rip. The SY's one fits so much better too and never blows off in the wind ---

I dont like using car covers, reason: if you have a nice paint job, it will creates fine scratches, especially if parked outside and its windy :2cents:

I ordered one from COSTCO...they have a company make it for you at a discounted rate. Mine's awsome, about $90, water and sun proof, and fits the truck perfectly...taylor made. They call you and you tell them what you need. Even the cladding and wheels are covered.

Had that same exact issue with my freshly painted 87 grand national... left little fine wavy scratches on the paint around the spoiler and along the roof water sills... I was soo pissed but the shop that had just painted it took care of it for me for free.. no more covers for me

Sand from the wind AND wind will definately scratch your paint , but it helps with oxidation to the paint AND interior ... your choice ( well that atleast what I tell myself ) .... I just throw a few coats of wax before I "store" it ---

I just ordered a cover for my Ty from Costco, thanks to your information. I had been looking for a cover and this one is a great deal at $96 shipped. I went to the Coverking website (mfger) and priced the same cover directly through them and it would cost me $268.99. I don't plan to use my cover outdoors anyway and I just want to keep the dust off while in the garage. The Costco promo ends after Nov. so order soon if you want to catch this deal. Regular price is $149.99 then Costo takes off $60 for a final price of $89.. Thanks for the info.
