You should talk to Al Dunstan. He has a rear coil over set up that is very nice and he also has a kit to replace the front suspension too. I will find link and put it up.

I plan to mount up this '78 Vette rear end as soon as I find matching front gears and discs and calipers for all 4. From what I can tell, if I do it right, I will no longer have that goofy ass offset problem and should be able to use the same rims on all 4 corners. I've helped a guy put a similar set up on a '55 with an LT1 and it road like a Cadi! My only concern is the 5 inch drop on the front with the flipped torsion adjuster arms. Turning is crunchy!

I would love to have irs out of a vette,I wonder how hard the install would be.I will have coil overs up front next Mon.,add the irs and it be the ultimate suspension.Let me know if you have any luck.

Re: corvette rear independent in syclone

It seems there should be some junk yard independent rear supsension that could fairly easily and cheaply be used, complete with coil-overs and disc brakes. I'm surprised it hasn't beed done yet.
