there are two coolant temp sensors on our motors. in my oppinion the best way to check check either one of them, is to compare the two.
#1 goes to the gauge in the instrument cluster. you can read it just by looking at the gauge.
#2 goes to the ecm. so just log a little data with datamaster or FAST if thats what your running, and compare the data to what the gauge reads. if they are close, then i would assume its working properly. also, i think that when a temp sensor goes bad, it will reads temps that just arnt possible. so as long as they look somewhat close, id assume they are both working fine.
