Coolant Overflow Bottle.....

I am looking for a good quality overflow bottle to hook up to radiator. I dont want to use one of those cheap looking plastic ones. I bought a canton one with fill cap and sight glass but it was a 2 quart and was just to big to fit on the driver side where the stock air box goes. If anyone has any pics of there setup that would be great. Thanx

Try going to some "Streetrod" sites.

I picked up a nice heavy duty one with a support bracket, way better than the Autozone crap...

Google LMC truck, I picked up a nice stainless one with mounting hardware.

I have one of the small ones mounted between the front bumper and the radiator. I attached it to the radiator support. When you open my hood and look down to the passenger side left of the hood latch, you will see it only if you look hard. My origional one is still intact with meth in it. I like my truck to still look origional. I do not know how to post pics on this site, but I could take a pic and shoot it to your email if interested............Fred

I have an aluminum octogonal Summit Racing special on mine on the drivers side where the stock airbox was located:

I had to fab up a bracket to mount it up. Before that, I had a round stainless steel one that was to big to fit so I sold it on ebay for mare than I payed for it .

Where have you been That is the summit brand one correct? and is it not recirculating or vented right? Does it make a difference if it is vented or recirculating on our trucks?

Still cant figure out what overflow to get. I would like one with a cap so i can check fluid and a lower fitting to recirculate back to the rad.
