Coilovers?

I have blocks and lowering leafs on my rear and its pretty low. However even with fully adjusted torsion bars , my front end is about 2 or 3 inches higher. My question is are there any cheap coilovers that bolt on to the front of our trucks, or is it possible to try to fit somthing like 240sx front coilovers?

Call Turbotime and tell them how high you want it there are some options. The coilovers are ~$700 and will improve the suspension in many different ways:
- improved turn in response
- improved skidpad
- lower ride height
- removing 70lbs. from front end
---- improves acceleration
---- better braking due to less mass
- better braking due to less front end dive
- adjustability of QA1's
- better launches due to tighter front suspension

thanks, are there any cheaper options?

Re: Coilovers?

i'm sure you could make budget coilovers with non-adjustable shocks... but good luck with that. If you're doing coil-overs it should be for driveability and not just for lowering.

Re: Coilovers?

With the torsion bar adjuster bolt completely adjusted out the lower control arm will sit on the bump stops (and ride like sh*t). Even with coilovers the truck will not sit any lower than that. I would check that torsion bars are adjusted properly first.

On that note, with beltech leafs and blocks the axle tube will hit the frame over dips and bumps in the road. I don't know how low you're trying to go but I don't think coil-overs are what you're looking for to do what you want.
