Coilovers/Bushing Question

I went to press in my lower control bushings on my JS control arms and on one of the bushings on the edge of the poly bushing split, so I have approx 1/8" of the rubber missing around the edge. Does this mean I need ot have that one press out and buy a new set of bushings?

Judging from your description you will be ok.

If you can snap a pic I can confirm.

I think its worse than I remembered.

So you have a flap. Looks to be fairly thin.

Being when you tighten bolt it tightens against the inner metal sleeve, and by the looks the flap is only 1/16" thick, I would give it a shot.

It can get tricky to pull the bushings out, without good tooling so if you do have it pressed out be careful.

Don't squeeze both sides together trying to remove it.
