looking to redo the suspention
can i put coilovers in place of stock shocks?
what are the advantage to this if I can?
somewhere on the board i read about coilovers on the back
what was the outcome. at the time they were testing it
and does anyone sell greasable bushings?
there was a lot of discussion of replacing the stock front shocks with just the coil overs. there was some back and forth between jeff scott and sandman/dennis about just using coil overs instead of regular shocks. nobody ever tested the possibility of doing this so jeff built a set of custom a-arms that will work with coil overs.
e-rue did some testing with rear coil-overs. don't think they're being sold quite yet. try www.turbotime.us or www.tobefast.com for the front suspension upgrade.
check into www.p-s-t.com for bushings or energy suspension for poly stuff.
The rears can be bought from Erue at turbotime. The front coilover aren't going to work atleast on the lower because they will hit the axle. The lowere mount would atleast need to be moved toward the front of the vehicle. I am not sure if the upper arms would clear either....
