Has anyone ever bought the exterior vinyl wax that is currently being advertised on an info-commercial??
Might be better than Mothers Back to Black...

Re: cladding detailer

I think its a clear polymer, like a shiney clear coat.
Doesn't back to black have a color in it?

Is this your bush?
Re: cladding detailer

Back to black is B.S. cause it always washes of in a day. Use eagle one trim gel IF YOU CAN FIND IT, buy all of it it works best. But I'd like to try wipe new the infomercial just to try.

Can't think of the name of it but I know what you are talking about. I was interested in it until I googled the reviews.

Re: cladding detailer

I tried both of the products that are advertised on tv. The first one (wipe new) and (detail doctor). The wipe new sucks. I only put it on the front bumper cover and did not finish the truck. It left streaks and I am still working on getting that crap off. The detail doctor wasn't too bad, but will need a fresh coat after you wash your truck. The best I have ever used is called Black Again, made by black jack. It also washes off but makes your cladding look like it was painted.

Black Chrome by Turtle Wax. Discontinued but can still be found.

Re: cladding detailer

I have also heard Wipe New is crap. I haven't tried it though.

I use Mothers back to black usually. I have used Turtle Wax black colored wax on the cladding, but it isn't as shiny as back to black and black chrome.

Re: cladding detailer

Lots of people seem to be raving about "Black Wow". Haven't tried it yet.
