If the truck has been sitting for this long, shouldnt any crud and debris be sitting at the bottom of the pan and be better just to drain out now instead of starting it up and circulating any crap back through the motor?
i'v always drained the oil out of my truck when its been sitting for months based on this theory. i've never noticed any debris, but if you have a noticeable amount of debris come out then you have other things to worry about
When the truck does run, I keep it up, so other than the standard carbon buildup im pretty sure I dont have any large debris floating around......but then, we are talking about syclones.
