Hey guys! Long time admirer of the Syclone and Typhoon, just have never been able to afford my own yet. :(

Anyhow, I hope this is OK to post here since I don't own one of the trucks, but I am trying to get all the interest I can in this show.

I am helping put together a show in the area due to my position with Highlands Sports Car Club. It is being put on by Applebees(R) and all proceeds are being donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation(R).

The event will be held at the WNC Agricultural Center across from the Asheville Airport on October 14-15th.

Entry into the show is $30 per car and includes two passes to the show.

Vendor booths are also available for $75.00 for both days, and also includes two passes to the show.

There are going to be cars of all types there from early antiques to late model imports with classes for everything.

There is also going to be a "CLUB CHALLENGE". The club (or message board) that has the most entrants into the show (whether they win or not) will be awarded prizes.

I will be uploading the entry forms to our website for download as soon as possible, and keeping this thread updated on any updates.

If you think you might be interested in attending, please post up!

Also, feel free to spread the word about this show to anyone you know, the more entrants and/or vendors we have, the more money will be raised for these kids.

I would love to see some Typhoons and Syclones out there, anybody think they will be interested in this event? We are trying to plan for the food and parking.

Ashville isnt that far from the inlaws but I work weekends so scheduling is a problem. There are a couple sytys in that area that I know of but the owners dont post much/any on here.

Good luck with the event none the less.

Got the traffic layout done. Pretty straightforward, spectators will need to keep right, into the parking lot beside McGough Arena, show cars will need to pass this area and will be directed to the booth behind/beside the sales arena.

Since parking will be first-come-first-served, and might overflow, I would recommend anybody coming with a club try to have all or most of your club arrive at the same time.

I checked out your website (deadbolt enterprises) and am impressed with it. Can you put me on your list for a catalog when you are finished with it? I am not in the market for a turbo yet but know that is a matter of time. I saved you to my favorites list.

As for the car show, I will try to fit it into my schedule but am not making any promises. I would like to be there.

Mike,

Thanks for the interest in the business! :)

I talked with a couple of Syclone/Typhoon guys this week locally and they are supposed to make it out this weekend. It is shaping up to be quite a good show!
