Carbon Fiber INtercooler Cover!!!

Well guys, I recieved my carbon fiber intercooler cover and let me tell you guys, it looks AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! I got it from SyTyArchives and he did an amazing job with this. If anyone is hesitating on purchasing this, i highly recommend buying one. Hope to see some new parts coming soon, . Here are some pics of it installed. Enjoy:

Told Ian to take some pics of the three we just finished up that are stacked at his house. We'll be working on one for TJay (phoonTy) here shortly that should be sweet looking since he got somthing a little bit different that just the standard CF look...have to wait and see

Thanks for the comments on the cover and my engine bay. My truck has just under 34,000 miles on it. Can't wait to see what the other intercooler covers look like. Please post pics when they are done. :tup:

I would recommend getting a new hood seal, it appears yours is missing. Especially with a low mileage example, you will find eventually the hood and the cowl will rub away that nice paint

I know this may sound dumb but what is the hood seal? Is it the rubber strip that goes ok the back rail of the engine compatment? Sorry if this is a dumb question. Thanks for the info!!!!!

Dealer still can get these. Have him order you a new upper rad hose too. The one you have looks like a Tuba!

It looks like you have a bad radiator cap. Is that upper hose sucked in like there is a vacuum in the system?

That's exactly what it looks like. I was told that was ok, but I didn't think so. So you are saying I should replace my radiator cap? Man I really need you to look over my truck to see what else is wrong with it. Do you have any of the parts I need? I guess I need the rubber seal for the hood and possibly a new radiator cap or hose. Let me know what you got. Any information about the meet?

I find it funny yet in a good way, from a guy posting pictures of his new carbon fiber part, we have determined his hood seal is missing, radiator cap is bad, and a new upper radiator hose would be a good idea.

we know what to look for, as on average we spend a few hours a week under the hood of one of these trucks.

If you have a bad driver's side motor mount by chance, he can hook you up with what you need for an engine tie down too

...

warmpancakes, not really looking to sell but I am open to any offers. If you would like to see more pictures of the truck I can post them up. I have the original window sticker, all manuels, stock parts that were changed, original firehawk tires on the truck, etc... This truck is definately a show stopper!!! Another great thing about this truck is that it came red/red from the factory!!!! It is on the window sticker and it was a $172 option, isn't that crazy, today it would probably be $1500. Hope to hear from you soon.
