Car Craft weekend

Just wanted to say thanks to all the guys in Mn who invited me to hang out this weekend. I had a great time at Car Craft. Everyone was great and offered alot of help with any questions I had. It's nice to get the right information before I start making modification to my Typhoon. I hope to get the trans done in the next couple weeks. Then I can start with the tuning and get it running properly.

Nice to meet ya too, Damion. Hope your trans stuff gets sorted out well. Did you find a converter?

Did anybody get pics of the Red Sy or the 22k miler? I really meant to take pics of the stocker for documenting where all the brackets and stuff go.


It's looking like October for track day.... should be good air.

Yeah, I'm all over that. I could barely stop laughing long enough to take that pic.

I like clean. The one at the Yr. one booth was really clean, well executed. There were bazillions of Camaros, Chevelles, and Novas there. For me to take a pic of one, it really was a standout. (Or, ridiculous, however the case may be)

The Street rod with the 500 HP turbo Ecotec was kinda neat. Interesting project for GM.

Quite a few clean, low-mile (<20k) GNs there.

Merc Comets. I have a '66 and 2 67s. I better fix the '67s, since there were none there.
3 66s, a nice 65 AFX clone, and a 63.

Loved the Burgundy on the R/T. It's be great on a Ty with Argent cladding.

You don't get to see a Bricklin everyday. Talk about a car with identity issues!

Gotta give the Sy some love in the form of a Claybar + Zaino treatment.
