ngk plugs are a no brainer. stay away from accel cap/rotor and wires. they're trash. i got the kit from turbo time and i think it improved stuffs... but taylor wires seem to be the most popular.

Re: Cap, Rotor, and Plugs

NGK UR5 or UR6 depending on the type of truck you run. You can up it to Iridium if you have the cash, but I don't think it is worth the extra money.

Re: Cap, Rotor, and Plugs

Whatever you buy for a cap and rotor, take them out of the box and make sure they have brass contacts instead of aluminum. Most parts stores will have 2 different 'levels' of cap and rotor; one for aluminum and one for brass. When I worked for NAPA, we had "Echlin" that was the copper good stuff, and "Mileage Plus" which was the ass aluminum crap.

Just make sure to ask your local parts dumbass for the good stuff.

#### EDIT ####

A real quick trip to Autozone's site, NAPAOnline or Parts America's site will give you any info you need too.

NAPA
Cap = RR241
Rotor = RR242

AutoZone
Cap = Wells DR936
Rotor = Wells DR023

Re: Cap, Rotor, and Plugs

why don't you email mike at tucker automotive. you'll find him on the board here. he seems to know quite a bit about parts for syty's and i hear he's pretty honest and fair. i always used conrad caps from autozone even on my high horsepower sy and never seemed to have any problem with them. i used taylor wires. they have a preassembled set for our motor, although they are a little long. i always liked autolite plugs. they made more power for me and i never had a problem with them. my stokes didn't run as good on NGK's. nothing wrong with the gm plugs though.

like i said, you might at least try mike at tucker and see what he has and what his prices are like. he at least knows what a syclone and typhoon are...
