So i cant exactly justify having another summer toy right now but would love to get a hold of a Sy or a Ty soon so I was wondering if anyone has driving one during the winter especilly the canadian winter? I sled in the mountains alot and would need it to be able to haul up to a duel sled trailer which I have hauled with my Escape and do be drivable year round unless I am done my engineering and can afford to have multiple summer toys

Re: Canadian Winter

That is more then you should be towing with a ty, they are not suppose to be used like a real truck, lol.

Re: Canadian Winter

If you set it up right, and drive with a reasonable right foot, it'd handle it fine.

I would do a lot of research before buying a Sy/Ty... there's a lot more to owning than just buying one.

The above quote doesn't reflect all opinions of Canadians, some of them are in higher elevations and the air is thinner there, causing delusional thoughs.

Yeah but donuts in winter in a AWD truck would be alot of fun. I bet you could get it to spin around like a bobcat!

I can steal my dad's Pick-up to haul the 20 footer and sled collection (i guess you can call it that)

500 # payload is all they are rated for and that might be pushing it.

The 04 King Cat weighs around 400lbs so i can keep it under the payload under that to just haul it to ride on weekends

I have been researching them Since the first time I ever saw one (Which is actually the one matt just bought before it became what it is today)
