How do you other Califoolya SyTy owners pass smog? I have to get smog before I can get my Ty on the road again, can anyone help me out? I know a place that is kinda blind for the visual but i still need to pass the sniffer test. I was thinking of throwing in two cats to pass it. Maybe get a highflow cat and install the stock cat that came with my Ty behind it with flanges that can be replaced with a test pipe so I can just have the high flow only after smog. (I hope that made sense.) Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your time. You may go now.

hey what part of the bay are u in? all that u will need is to tune down the air fuel miture, try and get to 14:1 and the 3" high flow cat will be just fine. just make sur eu got a pipe coming out the back. i am in da 650.

Sorry for the late reply. I just got back from snowboarding. I am in the 408. My mods are 50# injectors, Open element intake, 20g compressor wheel, Pitbull chip but installing the stock one in until i get an ultimate, shurflow, Atr muffler, afpr, and i think thats about it. Thanx for the info.

The 50's will make it more difficult to pass.
Fresh oil change.
Crank the fuel pressure down.
Disconnect your IC pump, just for your test.

There is about a 99.9726% 50lb injectors and the stock memcal won't pass emissions.

To use 50lb. injectors requires a rework of the tables. The 50lb. Ultimate chip has passed before.

Before I even try to smog I am giving it a tune up. You think UR6 plugs gonna hinder passing smog? I think I should have ordered UR5's. If all that don't work imma probably use a hook up. :wink:
