I am building a new motor for my TY. Need some info on the right direction to go.So far I have short block done. SRP piston, Eagle rods ,New crank fully prepped,ballanced.L35 heads ,stock size valves, fully ported, egr blocked off. 20G turbo, 412 cam, 1.5 roller rockers. I was wanting to run ultimate chip? Is all this good to run mid to low 11's on pump gas? Any Help! As far as I know I am the only one in my area with a Ty or Sy

Re: Building motor

I have just finished a new website with this type of information. Check out this page:

Syclone Modification Stages for parts and turbo size recommendations along with a list of estimated ET for pump gas and high octane!

I also have this diagram on my site!

Re: Building motor

all the money you have spend, spend the extra to get a custom tune for that truck. If you have more, get a bigger turbo but you can always upgrade that at some point.

Biggest bang for your buck will be a solid custom tune. If could be the difference in a horrible running truck or a excellent running truck. then again, change the turbo later you'll need to change the tune again with more boost etc.
