the annual buick vs ford shootout is also wanting gmc trucks and pontiac and cadillac to participate on the buick side this year to try and even up the numbers and make for good racing. my truck wont be ready yet but i think atleast two syclones will be there and troy said he might run some 11's. just hitting up the other syty's out there to come and participate or watch. Troy and i will be going in saturday morning so i could call you and let you know when we are in your area and we could meet in the city or i think brandon and another are going on friday night to do some practice runs if you want to go friday night and hang with them. i think they got a hotel to stay in if you want to stay friday night.

Yeah me and atleast on of my buddies will be down there friday night closest hotel we could find was in moore about 15 mi away from the track (I didnt even see this thread my bad for the repost)

It'd be a 14hr drive one way...

You could do it if you put a pontiac front clip on :lol:. It is every thing but chevy's but mid 9s would be a quick pass there though

You could do it if you put a pontiac front clip on :lol:. It is every thing but chevy's but mid 9s would be a quick pass there though

14 hrs is that even a road trip

ive seen a couple 7 and 8 sec cars there. a turbo 3.8 powered opel gt that shows up usually runs 7's

I remeber seeing it last year but I didnt see it run they had the supercharged and turbo rustangs there last year.

Yes.. It's a Buick engine... Wrapped it a Chevy.

(don't tell the ford guy's I'm using a 9" and a pinto rack.)

If I switch to race fuel I can turn it up a bit.... I've still not used the transbrake all year. Just been

driving the car and enjoying it. It's been getting cold so I'm glad I hooked up all the heater stuff

Heck.. I'd almost just drive it down!

I've seen that Opel Gt... it's nuts! Never made a full pass that've seen... Looks like some freakish
