Brown wire please help!

Hello everyone, it's been awhile, almost 6 years since I rebuilt the engine and put my truck in storage. So now I'm missing the feeling of boost launches so here we go again. The reason I put it away is because anytime I disconnect the brown wire it dies and will not restart until I plug the brown wire in, it also has a very low idle and sometimes dies when in gear. I've used the search function please help!

Your timing may be so retarded that when you disconnect the tan wire, it wont run.

Try advancing your timing a bit, then back it off to where it needs to be.

Pull your dist , get a piston stop to figure out tdc , and then reinstall .

if your timing is dead on with the brown wire disconnected....check out the balancer...sytys like slipped balancers
