Re: Bowtie heads and intake

I take it these heads do not work with stock intake/exhaust or header set up?

interested in the brodix intake. and the $200 heads...

Have some questions though mainly about the bolt holes were they welded up or machined for the 18 deg heads?

The stock intake wont fit because it has a raised intake port. They have a stock exhaust port location so the manifolds will physically bolt up but the angled plug locations make them unusable with anything but RPM or Kenne Bell headers.

the intake holes have been very poorly welded up. I didn't do it and don't know why it was done. I didn't bother me when i bought them knowing that they would have to be welded again to fight my combo anyway.

Thank you for the information. I am not sure as to the brand of my headers but it looks like the L35 swap is my best option.
