bought the ebay typhoon

Hey guys i just got a typhoon they are great trucks

anyone care to point me in the direction of what to modify


bigger turbo? bigger downpipe?

i just sold my grand national

Wow.....THE ebay typhoon? I hear that one has twin turbos and the super rare 6-speed ZR-1 trans!

welcome. I am going to have a nor cal meet soon in fremont. come on down. If you have any questions LMK. I am in san jose. only had my truck for 2 years but I know every nut and bolt on these things. Get a scan tool first.

You have to get it up and fixed before you modify (ie fix your boost control would be top priority) Shameless plug for my website, check out the SyTy FAQ should get you started.

the cat has been replaced with a different cat, and it has a dynomax muffler.

cat is not gutted, cause good ole california has to make you pass smog, and it passed smog on sunday

Yeah thats what i want to do too is get that fixed.

I was searching and found a threat that says if your having bost issues to disconnect the electrical connector of the boost solenoid and drive it and you should get 8 psi....

i tried that and still got 20psi of boost.

I also took a screw driver and pushed on the flapper valve on the wastegate and it moved so i assume the rod is tightened down
