Bought a Ty from Minnesota, looking for former owner

I just bought a wrecked 1992 Typhoon from a rebuilder dealer in Cold Spring, Minnesota. It's kind of a "candy apple red" with dark burgundy ground effects, stock wheels. The truck has a few mods -- 20G turbo, MSD coil, manual boost control, etc. The distinguishing feature is that it was set up with handicap controls. I'd like to find out who the fomer owner was so that I can contact them and find out what has and hasn't been done to the truck. Can anybody help me? I've got pics if that will help, I can email them if anyone is interested.

what did you end up giving for it, i know that they were asking like 7k or something like that, it had been brought up on the board before, i dont know any info on the truck, sorry

Mystery solved... I talked to the former owner, and he's going to supply me with paperwork for the engine, tranny, and turbo rebuilds. Thanks for your help, guys!

What was the original color?

Are you going to repaint it a different color?
And strip those center caps>? mmmmkay...

I agree, the center caps are on their way out... I'm currently planning to have the stock wheels chromed, so that will take care of the center caps.

From what I can see, the original color was all black. The firewall is still black, and I can see a thin black line around the PAS sticker in the door jamb. I'm not 100% sure on the color yet, but I'm leaning toward a deep purple right now.

try to get it the 92 blue metallic i am not sure of the paint code (someone knows it) but am sure of it being very rare and very tight, good luck!
