boost problems with 3 bar chip

Hey guys, hopefully you can help me with this problem.

We have a syclone and put in a 3 bar map sensor. Current mods: Td06 20g turbo, apfr, walboro, pitbull chip, etc.

No boost is showing on the stock boost gauge. Current fuel pressure set to 45 lbs. Is it common with the 3 bar map sensor for the stock boost gauge to misrepresent actual boost? Does this make sense?

you cannot use the pitbull chip with a 3bar map. "THE ONLY CHIP THAT WORKS WITH A 3BAR MAP IS THE ULTIMATE"

either buy an ultimate or put the 2bar back in.

Correct. Both the 2-bar and 3-bar sensors use the same voltage range or whatever to represent their full band. So 5v might be 15psi on a 2-bar, but 5v on a 3-bar would be 30psi. Both the stock electronic boost gauge and the stock chip (as well as non-Ultimate or custom aftermarket chips) are calibrated for the 2-bar sensor. They will not work properly with a 3-bar sensor.
