Boost Gauge Connection

I was reading the forums and http://www.sytyarchives.com/ (http://www.sytyarchives.com/howto/viewarticle.php?article_name=boost_gauge.php&dir=gauges) about locating the boost gauge connection. I looked for the two vaccum lines, the one that goes to the evaporation canister and the other that operates the climate control vent doors. I found the one for the canister but not the other. I connected the boost gauge to the canister line and want to know if that is right or wrong? Which is better? Are there any issues with connecting it to the canister line?

climate controls work on vaccum only, wont read boost unless tapped into before check valve.

I tapped in before the check value that connects to the canister. I cannot find the climate control line? Is it the same as the one going to the canister?

I got one of these, and it makes it easy. It installs quick, looks trick (mine has black fittings), and is made very well:
