So I was talking to a guy who makes a ton of vintage reproduction r/c bodies for tamiyas, traxxas and so on about new body requests. I've bought several different kinds from him and he does a really good job on capturing the original design while making them tougher than the original. I told him about about doing a Bolink Syclone body or making a more realistic 1/10 Syclone body as the Bolink one wasnt very correct. If I had him make a batch of Syclone bodies I would be curious to know who would want one. I dont know how many of you guys are R/C nuts like me but I think I would buy a handful of these. If I can get a head count on who might want one I can get him started on making a batch of these. Who here might want one?????

I have a Tamiya Stadium Blitzer and would love a Syclone body for it, as a matter of fact you can put me down for 2 now.

If more realistic than the Bolink....I'm in for a couple. Would like one to fit my T-maxx or 1/8 scale buggy since I no longer have any street cars.

This guy sells most his bodies for $20-$34. Ive bought 2 Tamiya king cab and 2 Tamiya hilux monster racer bodies for $34 each and they look awesome. Now hes just started making a Traxxas Sledgehammer reproduction and im about to buy several of them. Having a Bolink replica body would be cool for anything especially a pan car but the idea of making an all new 1/10 body (200mm) would not only look more realistic but allow you to run it on a 4wd touring car.

Anyway he can make Typhoon body's??? That would be awesome! I would buy at least 2 of those also.

I will talk to him about doing a typhoon. the thing is, the wheel base would have to be shortened from the back 1/2 so it might take a bit more work but I would love to see a typhoon r/c body as there are none period

If he doesn't have something to start with we did a prototype many years ago that may be of interest to him:

This is the mold with a piece of formed polystyrene over it for protection.

Of course, it would have to be scaled up in size for you RC guys which wouldn't be a problem at all. We could even machine him the mold to make it if he's interested...

Ok guys we can get production going asap I just need some donor bodies for what we want done. Like so:

1. bolink body for exact replica

2. Scale model to be made into exact replica polycarbonate body

3. anything else that could be used for a mold like seen above

If anybody has a donor they are willing to send, Jon @ teambluegroove will be willing to pay you for the body and it can be returned after the mold is made. Just message me and I will set you up for receiving payment and shipping.

I would be in for 1 or 2 Syclone bodies if he is making a 1/10th scale that is more accurate than the bolink body.

id be in for a sy and a ty if he made them. id like a more real looking sy but would take the bolink if that was the only option.
