i looked through some of the threads and saw a hks bov group purchase.... i was wondering if any one has pics of there install so i could see what the hks one looks like in a syclone...
how are the greddy type S ??? i dunno which one i should get.... or if anyone has a sound clip of the hks one.... help me out fellow sy ty guys

Yep looks like a galla pipe that's been painted and had a flange welded on for the blow off valve... Bob just made his last run of the IC to turbo pipes this past July... Try sending him an email.. you might get lucky and score a left over pipe... Price for the pipe shipped and delivered was $50..

I'll have to do a dv record of adam's truck.. it makes fun noises (if you dont get distracted by the polyurethane squeaking)

its a high pitch whistle similar to the type s clip on here.. except it doesn't drop off pitch like the S as its closing.

why dont they have any kind of spec as far as flow and statistics?
Because people buy em for the noise.

i'll have ian take some pics of my setup....which is basically the same as the pic, just all polished pretty....

uh.. as far as the sound, i dont have a way to actually get it on vid unless i goto ians parents and use the new digi vid cam....

i'll see if i can get over there sometime soon and get some footage...


its hard to really explain what it sounds like, just a high pitched whistle really...

does anyone here or know anyone who has a sound clip.. of the hks... im leaning over to the greddy type S... cus of that sound clip.... i know bov is just for the cool sound... hahaha what do u guys think of the greddy type S compared to the hks.. sorry i just have a hard time picking it out... prices are gonna be the same for me since shipping to hawaii cost an arm and a leg

That's actually my truck. It's not on there anymore - it resides on another Typhoon now. It's not the Bob Galla pipe - I had that it made.

IMO - The HKS SSQ BOV is much better than the GReddy Type S.

you really dont need the "Kit"
its just vaccum line and a flanged tube to mount it.
my friend can make them for free :D . (plasma cutter and mig welder)
