Black wheels on a Red Ty

Hey,

I am looking for wheels and was wondering what you think about putting black rims on a Red Ty. Do you think it will look good? I am looking for an 18 or 19 inch rim. I think a chrome lip would look good too. Any ideas?

there's a picture out there of a red/red with some black ZR-1's i think. if not ZR's, they are 5 spoke. at least that's what i remember. I'm sure someone has the pic out there somewhere. Doesn't look too bad imo.

I am trying to steer away from getting the ZR's, it seems as if everyone has them. The new z06's might look sweet, but again, I am looking for something around 18's. The zr's are 17's aren't they?

That don't look to bad at all... I was actually thinking about that combo as I am heading out the door to go look at a red/red ty... I would definitely prefer black/black... but my budget is somewhat limited at this time... beggers can't be choosers... if the price is right and the Ty is right... red/red is it! lol I was going to put black ZR1's in the black Ty I wanted, but later was trying to imagine what they would lool like on a red/red Ty.... anyway, now I know...

are those just stock corvette wheels...what are the measurements and any mondifcation have to be made to slap them on a ty?

With those style corvette wheels no mods are necessary.Just if you want them to be even front and back 1 1/2 adapters will be needed for the rear. The cool thing about those is the factory SY/TY center caps will bolt right in place of the vettes and looks really cool.
