bigger front swaybars

because my supplier is dragging ass forever, i am trying out a front swaybar off a 98up 4wd s10
its 33mm - a trace larger then ours.
it uses conventional endlinks rather then our "bayonet" mounts, so i'll be adding the appropriate brackets to my existing arms, rather then change them - already got poly bushings in 'em.
will post results and can post pics (tho i dunno how to) if anyone wants me to.
also, fyi, just switched to konis up front from edelbrocks - HUGE improvement in handling even yet, some loss of ride quality.

If you change out to the '98 up lower swing arms you will not only be able to use the larger 33 mm late style sway bar, but you will also be able to use the larger '98 up two piston disk brakes with the factory 10.75" rotors. The calipers on these later models will run into the earlier lower swingarms, so the factory presses a large dent in the later model ones in order to give clearance for it. The '98 up hubs also have an internal ABS sensor that is far superior to the type used on the Sy/Ty's (and regular Gen 1 S10's).

well aware...but - i have 13" baer brakes - dure as hell wouldnt give them up for anything - they're by far the single best mod i have done.
and, my arms already have poly bushings in 'em.
i am doing it on tuesday - gotta grab some thick plate monday to make the endlink brackets out of.
btw, if anyone's doing this, the energy suspension # is 35207 for the 98up 33mm bushing kit - they're greasable thru a zerk, bushing is grooved.
