Will the bell tech leafs drop the rear of a Sy 2"? The reason that i am asking is because i want to lower the front one inch and the rear three. Let me know if you guys have any different ways to achieve my wanted height. Thanks, Paul Z.

Belltechs will only drop it 1" by themselves. Belltech leafs are a 3" drop from a stock s-10. The Sy is already a 2" drop from a stock s-10. You could use a 2" lowering block with the belltechs to achieve the 3" drop you desire but that's pretty low. Hope that helps.

Re: Belltech leafs?????

one inch from the springs and one inch from the blocks? i'm not that good at math but that doesn't make three. i used a three inch block on my ty and it's kinda rough riding on not so good roads

Re: Belltech leafs?????

here's a pic of wicked's ty lowered in the back with belltech leafs... looks pretty damn good to me... i've read pages and pages of threads on here about the supposed lowering height of the belltechs and i havent read a straight answer yet... guess ya wont know till ya try em... the only thing i've gathered is that the belltechs ride better than blocks.

Re: Belltech leafs?????

i'm not sure how the belltechs can ride better unless they have a stiffer rate. i would think either way you'd basicly be on the bump stops. but i think i might give'em a shot soon cause i gotta do something or i'll have to pull my blocks and run stock hieght

Re: Belltech leafs?????

I'll chime in here and offer what I know from experience. I bought my truck with 3" drop blocks installed and although it looks good back there, it sure is a rough ride at times. Railroad tracks must be gauged before they are taken with any speed. I've been wondering myself what steps could be taken to help that ride, even if I had to lose some handling for it (although I obviously want the best possible handling I can get with the most acceptable ride available).

Ok, going to search for all the options now........

My ass. Look at it.
Re: Belltech leafs?????

I installed the belltechs about 1.5 months ago, dropped it 2" immediately, another .75" in two weeks...this was on a Ty though...

I feel they ride better than the stock springs...but those were prolly worn a little bit too...
