Bed Cover questions

Right now i have rhino lining instead of the tonnau cover, because out of 10 cars my truck is the only thing that can haul the weekly trash.:(. But i dont feel like having an opened bed with rhino lining , as my show truck. So i was wondering if there is a hard cover that i could easily take on and off so that i can take it off one day every week or so to take the trash. And i have no Tonnnau snaps on. Anybody have an idea?

srry for the essay

thanks

Re: Bed Cover questions

Yea thats the idea. I have never owned one but they look good I think and seem to be functional and easy to use. Im sure they make one for a short bed s10.

Re: Bed Cover questions

Haha. I thought my Syclone was the only one used for trash duty (it was temporary while my beater s10 got new tires and finally new inspection). A flush mount tonneau may be an option for you. There is lots of info out there on the s10 forums. Check this site, many options.

I've considered Line-X for mine. I think it looks better than Rhino, but adds some weight...

My associate has one on his F250 that lives in Colorado. He got tired of the bed being full of snow 4-5 months per year. I borrowed the truck last summer to tow my car to St Louis. The cover is really nice. Locks your shit up, remote control, electric operated. If you drive away with it open, and notice it in the mirror, just push the button, and it closes. No getting out to close it.

Might be a bit heavy for a performance-oriented owner, but would be a nice addition for a street truck. I really liked the one on the F250.

Pricey, but good product.

Ya, it's got a Turbo
Re: Bed Cover questions

I prefer the snapless. Looks cleaner. But, if you're going for the OE look, then you'll want snaps.
