ball joint eater

Bought my truck with 17" x 9.5 rims and 275x 50 tires.
Within 3 months I had to replace all 4 balljoints with excessive wear.
Don't think these front suspensions are engineered to support that much tire and that much offset:tdown:.
Running stock rims with 245/50's

Is your truck lowered? They lower it is in the front with the factory suspension, the quicker it will wear out the ball joints.

The ball joint /tire size is not the issue. What ride height do you have, what brand of ball joints are you buying and using.

What brand are you using? I had a Dodge truck that the customer wanted me to install some drive works ball joints. No problem until both snapped off about the joint about a month apart from each other. Another truck, 4x4 chevy used the same brand. Those lasted about 2 years. I only use Moog now because of that.
