just changed plugs and still vibrates bad. it does it when i rev it up in neutral and on a load. could it be my timing, bad harmonic balancer, O2 sensor? it was running good yesterday and we put 100 oct. in it, raced it once and thats when it started. there was no knock at all, ran good on 12psi, thats all. could it be in the tranny?

Could be the following:

Bad plug wire(s).
Dist cap/rotor needs replaced.
Base timing is off.
Bad injector.
Bent conn rod(s).
Burned/bent valve(s).
Torque converter is dead internally (seen it happen on 200R4s so I guess it could happen on a 700).

could have plug wires crossed. just a thought :D

Yep, you didnt mention before that the plug wires had been off too. Check your firing order/plug wire routing.

I had a problem that was very similar to this and it turned out to be bad plug wires and a tranny mount. I would check your tranny and motor mounts!
