I use a lap-joint stainless band clamp. If you crimp it too tight at the joint with a regular hose-style clamp you risk cracking the headers over time since they will be effectively "locked"and can't expand/contract. If you leave it loose at the joint it will obviously leak and eventually blow apart. I've struggled with this connection over the years finally staying with the band clamp.
You will also want to re-torque the clamp after heat cycling it a few times.

I'm having the same issue, but the worst leak is at the v-band on the crossover. It's not a bad leak by any means, but I can hear it, and I hate exhaust leaks.

i have the same headers and do hear an exhuast leak too. the stainless steel clamps work awesome.
i have used them in the past. thats a good idea. i think i have v-band on there now. i will change that when i get some more cash. i retighten mine. but still has a leak. not sure if that is where it is coming from. worth a try to better it though. thanks maxtor for the reply

what happened to your poor heater box. looks melted to sh*t! wow got hot over there with that big turbo?
