anyone using an smc alky kit?

i am interested and wanted to know if anyone has installed steve's kit on their truck.how was the installation?

I have owned two SMC kits. Easy installation and Steve is great at customer service.

Were did you mount your spray nozzle and reservior? I have the Kenne Bell cold air kit on my truck, which moves the coolant overflow bottle over next to the oil filter. Thanks

I like mine.
Wish I had a progressive controller but they weren't around yet when the first SMC kits came out.

I have the same setup as you.
I mounted the SMC bottle off the cruise bracket and have my coolant overflow where the airbox was.

That's were I was contemplating my reservior location. Do you have your spray nozzle mounted in the end of your intercooler near the throttlebody?

yup, you want it as close to the TB as possible.

Ideal scenario would be to inject the alky at the intake runners for equal distribution but that'd take 6 nozzles and ruining a lower.

I don't have any pics here at work.

I run heet. 99.9% methanol.

I have the original round-tank SMC kit with the original pump and it's over 5 years old, I only use 100% methanol with the lube and it still kicks ass. I upgraded to a dual nozzle last year and PSI dropped from 110 to 90, still very good.
