Anyone running these bake kits?

CBR Performance is a member here on the board.
TT350 I believe is his name and he has a few kits in use by other members with all good reviews.
If I didn't have a Baer setup already this would be the route I'd be taking.
In fact we should have a Sy at the Nats running this setup.

Re: Anyone running these bake kits?

I just recently cut up my spindles for this mod. My truck will be at the nats witht the CBR kit. (i just got the brackets for the c-5 rotor)

If your going to go fast, you got to stop it. This is an ez fix and the best part it cheap and parts are everywhere.

I just installed that kit on my truck... I'm pretty happy with it, but of course my truck isn't moving anytime soon so that isnt neccesarily a good indicator. I'm going to assemble the spindles with the brakes today and take some pics, I'll post them tonight.

Cool, keep us posted. I really curious to see if it all bolts right together without fitment issues.

quite a few of us have used them. We installed them on my father's truck and he's very happy with them. He didnt have to pull the Todd A. manuver when launching the last time he was at the track.

Here's what I got put together today. Hopefully I'll have my a-arms soon so I can mount this stuff on the truck. Other than the grinding of the uprights, it's all an easy bolt up. Took me ~15 minutes to assemble, outside the grinding.

I ordered my kit. We will be installing them at the April 2nd wrench session. I also have the LS1 rears already installed.

yea, i installed this kit about 3 months ago. It has been the best upgrade I have ever done. awsome stoping power. best stopping vehicle I have ever driven(thats not saying much but.....) I can build 20 pounds of boost at a light, before i could barely make it to 0. very good instructions, contacted him on the phone and was very helpful(about rear brakes). very professional and curtious.

How much did you have to grind?

I have had his kit on my Sy since he came out with it. Love it. As a matter of fact i sold my Baer setup for the TY and got his brackets for that also

Great directions, all parts needed
